A vibrant blue sky serves as the backdrop for the domed cathedral and adjoining bell tower, which dominate the Venice landscape. The colors are rich and vivid, suggesting a bright, sunny day.

I have been creating visual art for more than twenty years. I continue to hone my craft by studying the style and techniques of my favorite painters, borrowing bits of genius from each, and combining them into a style that is ever-evolving, yet uniquely my own. I was born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii, where I lived for 35 years. Since leaving the island, I have lived in the Colorado Rockies, the Lowertown Arts District of Saint Paul, and the pristine lake country of northern Minnesota. While I occasionally work on commission, the vast majority of my work depicts favorite scenes from the places I have called home, as well as my surroundings here in Walker, Minnesota and dozens of other places I have traveled to.
