This painting of tropical paradise is one of my favorites. Couldn’t you just stretch out there in the shade and listen to the surf come in? The original painting is an 11 x 14 oil on board, and includes a custom frame.

I have been creating visual art for more than twenty years. I continue to hone my craft by studying the style and techniques of my favorite painters, borrowing bits of genius from each, and combining them into a style that is ever-evolving, yet uniquely my own. I was born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii, where I lived for 35 years. Since leaving the island, I have lived in the Colorado Rockies, the Lowertown Arts District of Saint Paul, and the pristine lake country of northern Minnesota. While I occasionally work on commission, the vast majority of my work depicts favorite scenes from the places I have called home, as well as my surroundings here in Walker, Minnesota and dozens of other places I have traveled to.
